As the school counselor, my role is to support our students and implement a comprehensive school counseling program. A comprehensive school program focuses on three key standards: academic, career, and person and social skills. This can be implemented through classroom guidance lessons, leading small group instruction, and providing brief individual counseling, along with aiding staff and administration.
